Sewage Bacteria Testing
Sewage back-up, Toilet over flow, or a Sprinkler system leak?
Fecal Coliform and E. coli Bacteria may remain.
Safe Actions Are Required BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER cleanup
1. Initial Bacteria Assessment
use our THIRD PARTY contamination assessment performed after a water sewage infill to determine if sewage indicator bacteria are present. Then a proper course of remedial cleanup action can be taken by a qualified contractor for your safety.
2. Post-Bacteria Clearance Assessment
An AFTER CLEANUP verification by a qualified third party is needed to ensure the cleanup was conducted completely and correctly by your contractor.
A lab-based bacteria clearance assessment includes a visual inspection of the work area as well as moisture content measurement and assessment of affected building materials. Samples from surfaces, cracks, and crevices are collected for testing.
These samples are cultured at an accredited lab to determine the presence or absence of sewage indicator bacteria including E. coli and Enterococcus.
